  This place was amazing. Seriously. I was in the mood for Italian food, so my husband took me here... and every single thing brought to us was delicious. We started with a shrimp special. We then had the chicken parm and lasagna. Will be back soon.

  I have high standards for Italian restaurants and this lovely little storefront eatery mostly met them. The server recommended an excellent wine and cautioned that I was ordering too much food for one person (I was solo on work travel). Of course I was ordering too much—but I wanted to try ALL THE THINGS! The carpaccio was a different preparation from what I'm used to but it still worked: the perfect mélange of beef, parmigiana, capers, lemon, and arugula; and with marinated tomatoes in the middle, a nice addition. The gnocchi alla montanara (a first cousin of carbonara) was delish—if a little too rich to each a lot of in a sitting; I would recommend them offering a smaller appetizer portion. And the veal piccata was... surprisingly mediocre. The flavor was great but veal was rubbery (I actually would have ordered chicken piccata but it was not on offer). All in all a fine meal, with a few reservations.
